Simetra has taken care of him ever since to repay him. They train with each other, Simetra hoping to get stronger and Rasputin training to use his other senses to continue to fight.

Info: Rasputin is a very old Pokemon. He was originally born in a remote location near Whispering Peaks and eventually found his way to Snowy Village, living there for several years. He rescued Simetra from a rouge Scyther named Reaper, who is responsible for Rasputin's blindness. Rasputin eventually was able to still fight even when he could not see. He uses a strong defense due to other Pokemon taking advantage of his blindness.
